First Take
My AD-16x or DA-16x is showing up as a Rosetta in Maestro for Symphony 64 or Mobile
Symptom:
There is a known issue with the current Symphony installer (as of 2012) where after initially connecting an AD16x or DA16x for the 1st time and powering it up, it might show up as a Rosetta 800 in Maestro2, which in turn can make it seem like your channels are limited to 8 in Maestro and Logic...
Solution:
Quit Maestro and restart the computer. After the computer restarts, launch Maestro and confirm that the AD16x or DA16x is showing up correctly. After that, go to the input and output routing tabs in Maestro and click "reset routing" for each tab.
