First Take
I purchased my unit outside my country of residence. Does my warranty apply?
Please be advised! Warranty service is only valid in the region of purchase.
The Apogee limited warranty is offered solely to products purchased from an Authorized Apogee Reseller, in the same territory as the Authorized Reseller only. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights in the country of purchase.
If you have purchased outside the region of your residence and wish to send in your product for warranty service, you will be responsible for all shipping and customs costs to and from the distributor of the region from which you have purchased your unit.
Alternatively, you may also send your unit to Apogee in Santa Monica, California for warranty service, regardless of the region you purchased from. In this case, you would also be responsible for all shipping and customs costs to and from the United States.
To send your unit in for warranty service in the region of purchase, please contact the reseller or the distributor of the region you have purchased your unit from. The distributor will then advise you of the appropriate procedure for resolving the warranty issue.
In every case it will be necessary to provide a copy of the original invoice or store receipt to the distributor. In the event that you are unable to provide proof of purchase directly, you should contact the reseller from whom you purchased the product and attempt to obtain proof of purchase from them.
If you choose to go outside of your region of purchase for repair work, your repair will be treated as a non-warranty repair and you will be charged accordingly by the repair center you take it to. You can contact your local distributor for repair, and they may decide to be of assistance at their sole discretion. In this case, there would likely be a charge for repair and it will be necessary to request an out-of-warranty chargeable repair.
