I hear noise on ONE's output when nothing is connected

Why is my ONE interface making noise?

Noise from ONE is most commonly caused by the input gain being turned up with nothing connected to the breakout cable. To stop the noise, turn the input gain all the way down when no microphone or instrument is connected.

If you have the input gain turned up with nothing connected to that input on the Apogee One's breakout cable, then you may experience some noise. If you are just listening to the Apogee One's output and do not have any microphones or instruments connected, make sure you turn the input gain all the way down.
