I can't hear my guitar when using Jam

JAM is plugged in, I see the green status LED, but the guitar is not audible.

You will need to turn on software monitoring within your recording application to hear your instrument plugged into JAM.  

In GarageBand, this can be done by selecting the plug icon in the top left corner.
