How do I reset the Duet 2 or Duet for iPad & Mac?

A hardware reset restores your Apogee device to its factory default settings. Use this process to resolve persistent issues that other troubleshooting steps have not fixed. Note: performing a hardware reset will overwrite any custom settings on the device.

• To perform a hardware reset:
  1. Disconnect the USB cable from your Apogee device.
  2. Press and hold the encoder knob, then reconnect the USB cable while continuing to hold the knob.
  3. Keep holding the knob until the Apogee logo disappears and the level-meter screen appears, then release.
