[Duet for iPad/Mac/PC (USB)](https://knowledge.apogeedigital.com/legacy-products?hsLang=en#duet-for-ipad-mac-pc-usb) # Can ONE, Duet or Quartet route audio from an iPad directly into a Mac? Apogee interfaces are only able to communicate with one computer or iOS device at a time. If you have two Apogee interfaces, you can route the audio from the iOS Apogee interface into the Mac Apogee interface. Otherwise, you can record into your iOS app so there's an audio file. Then use that app's share feature to send or transfer the file to your computer (and vice versa). Here's an article about doing this with Garageband: [https://www.idownloadblog.com/2019/10/16/import-songs-audio-in-garageband-mac-ios/](https://www.idownloadblog.com/2019/10/16/import-songs-audio-in-garageband-mac-ios/) *NOTE: The USB-A Port on the back of Duet-iOS and Quartet-iOS is only for MIDI data, and cannot be used to pass audio.*  -
