First Take
Can I use MiC for recording using a Boom Arm ?
Yes!
All our MiC series units come with a standard camera tripod screw mount on the back, and an adapter to standard mic stand sizes.
Thus, you can put it on any mic stand you prefer.
However, you DO need to consider the length of USB cable.
If you are using a standard computer you can look for a USB cable up to 5 meters, the maximum length of the USB 2 specification. However, you may see clicks and pops as you get up to the maximum, so please choose the shortest cable you can for your setup for performance.
For iOS devices, the maximum length is very limited, and thus we only make a 1m Lightning cable, which comes with your device. This may be too short for your boom arm. You will have to try this out for your specific boom arm and position accordingly.
