First Take
Apogee Control is not working with my Pro Tools HD connected Symphony
When using the SymphonyIO MkII in Pro Tools HD mode, you are bypassing all Apogee software and utilizing only Avid's software for the unit. All other control of the Symphony unit is done through the front panel touch-screen.
This means you will not be able to use any functionality offered by Apogee Control. Those functions are only available by restarting the unit in the "Thunderbolt Interface Mode" and connecting the unit to your system via Thunderbolt.
Once you connect your unit via Thunderbolt, Apogee Control will see the unit and you will be able to use the features of that software, including monitoring presets.
