What is Apogee Glue and Apogee Messenger?

Apogee Glue and Apogee Messenger are part of the Apogee Control and Apogee Control 2 softwares.

Glue is responsible for translating hardware messages from your Apogee device into changes in the Control software that will adjust CoreAudio settings.

Messenger is responsible for phoning home to Apogee and checking on software updates.

You may see these processes running in the background of your system and this is totally normal! Your Apogee device would not have the features you enjoy without these software processes.
