First Take
Symphony I/O MkII not being seen with Sequoia
There is a permission / enabling of a driver that has to be set, but Sequoia makes it tricky.
Previously when you installed Control 2 “Native” with support for Symphony I/O enabled, operating systems prior to Sequoia, upon restart and after logging in, you would would see this:
Then you would click on Open System Settings, and be led to click “Allow” in the Privacy & Security section of your System Settings.
With Sequoia you install and restart, but you are shown a warning BEFORE you login. If you then click on Open System Settings, the window goes away, and nothing happens because you are not logged in yet.
Then after you login, still nothing happens - You are not taken to the System settings settings and you either forget about it or have no idea where the setting is that you are supposed to “Allow” or turn ON.
This is what you need to do after restart.
Go to System Settings> General> Login Items & Extensions and finally, Driver Extensions:
Click on the “ i “ in the circle and you will see this:
Click on the slider button and you will be prompted for your password.
The Apogee Thunderbolt driver is now enabled. And that’s it, no restart required.
