Symphony I/O Mk II – Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 Upgrade

Apogee offers a Thunderbolt 3 upgrade option for Symphony I/O Mk II users who wish to take advantage of newer Mac models and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity.

This upgrade replaces the existing Thunderbolt 2 module and rear panel with updated Thunderbolt 3 hardware.

Upgrade Options

1. Self-Installation

• Purchase the Symphony I/O Mk II Thunderbolt 3 Card Kit from your preferred Apogee Dealer($499 USD).

• The kit includes the Thunderbolt 3 card and updated rear panel.

2. Factory Installation (RMA)

If you prefer Apogee to handle the upgrade and you purchased the upgrade from an Authorized Dealer:

• The Dealer you purchased from will make the arrangements and provide you with instructions (USA & international).

If purchased directly from Apogee (USA Only):

• Contact Apogee support to set up service: 

  • Once your purchase is verified, you’ll receive shipping instructions for the upgrade. Once received, Apogee will perform the installation and return the unit.
